Top Dressing

If your lawn is plagued by constant disease or bald patches, top dressing can turn your struggling lawn into a showstopper!

Top dressing is the process of applying a thin layer of material, such as topsoil, over the surface of the lawn. This technique is used to improve soil structure, add nutrients, and promote healthier grass growth.

Top dressing is recommended for lawns that have had recent construction, suffer from disease, drainage problems, and bald patches, or thin lawns that wish to be thickened.

Our pull behind machine allows us to evenly disperse 1/4” of pulverized topsoil over the entire area before applying seed.

Top dressing helps integrate new topsoil with existing soil, thus enhancing the soil quality over time!
